1	Hi, I'm a student in archeology at Laval University. I'm actually taking a course in hieroglyphes and I would like to know where I can get signs for Hieroglyphica since some are missing. Thank you Thank you for your interest in our program. As for your question - yes, some hieroglyphs are missed in our program, but mainly these are just variations of basic signs, and most of missed signs belong to late period. Actually, we have been writing a program which allows you to compose inscriptions, and if you need sign that is not listed there you can draw this one using any program or even manually on a paper when scan it and add it to the program.
2	Are there problems with Hieroglyphica and Windows Vista? Its a lovely program but it keeps stopping working. Reinstalling works for a time and then it happens again. The program hasn't been tested with Windows Vista yet.
3	I would like add signs in the hieroglyphica database In which format i must to do this? (PNG, SVG) and what tool i must to use? Thanks. You should use the .BMP image format. It will be converted to vector format automatically during importing.
4	how to download? Please go to the http://www.hieroglyphica.com/download.php page and choose appropriate item for downloading. You will be taken to the login screen, where you need to enter your personal information. After what you will be able to download the file. If you still have some problems with downloading the file please let us know and we will send you the file directly.
