CORPUS

The program is a private development designed for systematization of study results on Egyptology. The basic part of the project was performed in 2003. Since that time due to the extending of database the program has been constantly under development. The authors of the project reckoned completely upon their own comprehension of philological studies and programming experience/skills.

Program Objectives :
  • Systematization of
    - bibliography,
    - sources,
    - objects (any literary work: a letter, a story, a funeral inscription etc.);
  • Input of studied texts (transliteration, translation, comments);
  • Search of
    - words and word-combinations,
    - grammar structures,
    - information from all directories of the database;
  • Work over research reports (a text editor, providing access to the database, is available);
  • Generation of reports of any kind based on all data stored in the database;
  • Import/export of data into MsExcel, MsWord etc.
